ORIGINAL BLUE LABEL
Our original blue label seasoning was developed to compliment “tri tip” - a cut of beef originating on California’s Central Coast and a primary component of Santa Maria Style Barbecue. What makes Susie Q’s unique is the perfect blend of salty, sweet and savory umami (pronounced ooh-mah-me) flavors that meld deliciously with the fat in meat, oil or butter. Our other seasoning blends share the same flavor profile as this original recipe, with subtle variations in the ingredients to allow everyone to enjoy Susie Q’s legendary flavor. 

MSG-FREE RED LABEL
Susie Q’s red label seasoning is made without added monosodium glutamate, which is what gives our original seasoning the umami component. Although MSG occurs naturally in many foods, such as tomatoes and cheeses, less than 1% of the population has a glutamate (an amino acid) sensitivity. 

SUGAR FREE PINK LABEL
Our newest blend, the pink label seasoning is made for people seeking a lower carbohydrate diet. It’s sugar-free and made with a blend of Himalayan pink and Pacific sea salts for added trace minerals. We replaced the small amount of sugar in our other seasonings with organic stevia, a natural sweetener derived from the leaves of a plant with the same name.
