Sherried Crab Dip

On the East coast, crab dip reigns supreme, but the addition of our Santa Maria seasoning adds a bit of West coast flair to this creamy, hot dip. Sherry wine adds a luxurious touch that highlights the sweetness of the crab without overpowering it. Simple yet elegant, this is definitely the little black dress of dips!


  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 6 1/2 oz. crab meat, canned or fresh
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup Sherry wine
  • 1 tbsp. minced onion
  • Susie Q's Santa Maria Style Seasoning
  • Dash of paprika
  • Crackers & crudités, for serving


  1. Cut the cream cheese into cubes, place in a saucepan over medium heat, and heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth.  
  2. Stir in the crab meat, mayonnaise, mustard, Sherry wine, and minced onion.  Stir until heated through. 
  3. Season to taste with Susie Q's and a dash of paprika. 
  4. Transfer to a bowl and serve with warm with assorted crackers and crudités.
